There are a large number of historical jigsaw puzzles from around the world (mostly the USA and Europe) that are certainly interesting and unusual in terms of their theme or the method of cutting. I collect the more modern puzzles (1930s onward) that I find particularly unique. Here are some of them, from every decade from the 1930s on, plus a lovely Valentine’s puzzle from 1909.
